In 2012 the 'Pledis Boys' (male Trainees under Pledis Ent.) were split into 2 groups that should both debut in 2012.

Samuel, the youngest of them, has signed up under Brave Sound Entertainment, where he debuted in a 2 member group named 1Punch, but the group disbanded after a short time.

Doyoon is now under JB Entertainment and is working to be an actor.

Mingming singned up under FNC Entertainment's FNC GTC in Shanghai as a trainee.

Dongjin appears to have went home, even though fans aren't too sure if he did that or decided to sign into another company.

The promotional event set the stage for their first EP.

After Pledis officially took the group under its wing, the 2015 reality-TV series Seventeen Project: Big Debut Plan concluded with an hour-long live showcase on a major broadcast channel. Seventeen was actually supposed to debut as a 17 member group, but through various reasons 4 Trainees didn't make it through the qualifikation or went off beforehand.
